There are several side-draw and pump round in a crude oil atmospheric column, which increase the difficulties of design large atmospheric column. The atmospheric column of the first ten-million-ton crude oil plant was designed by ZEHUA in 2004, and the ADV® floating trays were adopted. zehua-chem are designing a super-sized atmospheric column located in Malaysia, with diameter 9.9m.
1. There are special designs in support beams, transition section and distribution pipes, which are very important in a large atmospheric column;
2. Flash section is considered specially, to meet the vapor distribution and entrainment requirement;
3. Appropriate material is chosen to adapt to different crude oil;
4. The atmospheric packing column owns performance advantage.
