In China, ADV®tray is applied to the most propylene rectification columns of large-scale C3 separating unit and MTO unit. When ADV®tray is applied to propylene rectification column, the efficiency of double paths tray approaches 100%, and the efficiency of four paths tray exceeds 95%.
When ADV®-MP multiple downcomer tray (with granted patents) is applied to large propylene rectification column, the diameter will be decreased, so the equipment investment will be reduced. ADV®-MP tray has been applied in propylene rectification column successfully.
The heat pump process could be used in C3 separation, which can save the energy consumption of propylene rectification column. ZEHUA can offer heat pump process package for propylene rectification column.
