Successfully Run of Vacuum Column, Arak Refinery
After one year¡¯s effort, the revamp vacuum column (ID 9450/6400mm) of Arak Refinery designed by Zehua run successfully at the end of June, 2009.
The internals for other columns Zehua designed for Arak Refinery is in the process of delivering.
The Arak Refinery locates in Arak city of Markazi, Iran, who had an upgrading plan to boost its capacity from 169,000 barrels per day (bpd) up to 250,000 bpd. This project, estimated to cost around Euro 2.7 billion, could ramp up Arak¡¯s gasoline production capacity and propylene, which is a key engineering project in Iran.National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company is the proprietor and a consortium comprised of some Iranian firms and Sinopec Engineering Inc. (SEI) is the major contractor of the project. Up to now, the project has completed around 60%, and the refinery is supposed to come on-stream in July, 2010.

EPC Contract for Methanol Recovering Unit for Lonkey
In June 2009, Zehua signed an EPC contract with Guangzhou Lonkey Industry Co., Ltd. for a methanol recovering unit equipped with 50,000 ton/y MES project. Upto now, the EPC contract is performed smoothly as planned. All the work of civil engineering, equipment, piping, electrics and instrumentation will be finished by next February, and will take trial run after Spring Festival.
The 50,000 ton/y MES project is the biggest MES project in China. During the production of MES, methanol wastewater will be produced. For better recovering the Methanol, and have the waste water in compliance with related environment protection statute, Zehua specially developed a process package and signed a EPC contract with Lonkey for the whole recovery unit. With that process package, the index of methanol recovery percentage, methanol content in wastewater, and steam consumption has reached the international advanced level. The total invest of the unit is only 40% comparing to domestic similar project. We could expect good social and economic benefit with the operation of this methanol recovering unit.

Zehua's Credit Was Rated as AAzc
The Beijing zhongguancun Enterprises credit Promotion Association at the zhongguancun Science and Technology Park (Z-Part) organized an annual Business credit rating program. As part of that program, on Aug.1st, 2009, Zehua company¡¯s credit rating was evaluated as AAzc, the second-highest level. Such evaluations are indicated in the credit report:
- Having rich experiences in engineering projects with stable customer community;
- products and technologies possess advanced characteristics and strong competitiveness in the industry;
- having modern corporate system; persistent and rapid development in business, having good profiting capability, and stable financial structure;
- having good social reputation;
- possessing very strong payment capability for short-term and long-term debt;
- the business is in positive cycle, with very little influence of uncertain factors to the business and development.
Information: In accordance with international common practices, grades of the credit rating report of the corporations in Z-Park shall be divided into three grades and nine levels, including AAAZC, AAZC, AZC, BBBZC, BBZC, BZC, CCCZC, CCZC, CZC. Each credit level (except Level AAA) can be fine adjusted with ¡°+¡± and ¡°-¡±, which indicate higher or lower than the level.

Gained the Bid of 10Mt/A Crude Unit of Changling Petrochemical Corp.
In the May of 2009, Zehua gained the bid of ten million tons of crude unit from Sinopec Changling Petrochemical Corp..
The refinery integration project of 10Mt/a in Yueyang, which is the largest refinery integration project in central-China, will complete and put into operation in June 2011. After that, it will produce 7.06mt of gasoline, kerosene, and diesel per year.
Atmospheric and vacuum distillation units are the lead of refinery industry, and Zehua boasts the designing of refinery column internals and large-size trayed columns. Compared with small-size columns, the structure of large-size columns is more complicated and more difficult for both fabrication and installation. Zehua had extensive experiences in designing large-size columns. Up to now, Zehua has successfully designed and installed 57 columns larger than 5.0m dia., and the max dia is 10.2m. Based on accumulated experience and strict management system, we are confident that the project would be executed successfully.

Got Contract of Column Internals for 100 Kt/A Acetylene Unit
Zehua signed contract with Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works (SVW) for designing and manufacturing of 100kt/a acetylene unit column internals in the June of 2009.
Sinopec Sichuan Vinylon Works, which was one of the most original four sets of major chemical fiber imported in the beginning of 1970s, locates in Changshou Chemical Industry Park in Chongqing. The plant keeps leading position on natural gas chemical technology in China. In 2008, SVW began to construct several projects of chemical engineering including 100kt/a acetylene unit. After repeatedly negotiations and surveys, Zehua was appreciated and entrusted for advanced technology, rich and mature engineering experience, and faithful attitude. Finally both sides agreed the contract of the design and manufacture of all the 22 columns in the unit.
